Announcing appointments of ICANN Board Members

The address council of the Address Supporting Organisation of ICANN
has has performed its first important task.

Following the regional open calls for nominations, three members for
the ICANN board have been selected.  Congratulations go to:

	Ken Fockler (ARIN region) for a 1 year term
	Rob Blokzijl (RIPE NCC region) for a 3 years term
	Pindar Wong (APNIC region) for a 2 years term

The terms may be reconsidered at the upcoming ICANN meeting in Los Angeles,
but for formal reasons we had to decide on the terms without having
time to meet or consult with the candidates.
