[arin-announce] Information About New ARIN Templates

On 31 August 2006, ARIN will release new versions of all registration
templates based upon feedback from the community and the experiences of
ARIN staff. These revisions were made with the intention of making them
clearer, more concise, and easier to complete.

In addition, some templates were revised to reflect changes necessary for
upcoming policy implementations. 

After 31 August 2006, all new requests for IP addresses and Autonomous
System Numbers must be submitted using these revised templates. ARIN will
continue to accept the previous versions of other templates for at least one
year so that customers using scripts will have sufficient time to update
their software. It is recommended that all other customers use the new
templates to ensure more efficient processing.
