The goal of this document is to provide a comparative overview of the policies in the RIR system. It is not a policy statement by the RIRs, but is intended to serve as a reference for the Internet community. This is a public document that will be reviewed and revised through the coordinated effort of the RIRs. ARIN had asked for bids last year and had received several proposals. ARIN has decided on multiple awards to provide robustness to the system and to not have to rely on one vendor for this critical Internet service. Accordingly, ARIN announces that it has established service level agreements with Nominum and VeriSign. Engineering work will begin in the near future to migrate the /8 domains to these suites of servers. Raymond A. Plzak President & CEO ARIN
