Mailing Lists
ARIN manages several mailing lists. All lists are open to the public except the ARIN Discussion mailing list, which is open to ARIN members only.
All participants of these mailing lists must adhere to ARIN's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Please review the AUPs before using these mailing lists.
How To Subscribe
To subscribe to any of the lists below, simply send an e-mail to [listname]-subscribe@arin.net from the account you would like to subscribe from and include the word "subscribe" in the BODY of your e-mail. For example, to subscribe to the Public Policy Mailing List (PPML), send an e-mail with the word "subscribe" in the body to arin-ppml-subscribe@arin.net.
How To Unsubscribe
To unsubscribe from any ARIN Mailing List, send an e-mail to [listname]-unsubscribe@arin.net from your subscribed e-mail account, with the word "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message.
For example, to unsubscribe to the ARIN Discussion Mailing List, send an e-mail with the word "unsubscribe" in the BODY to arin-discuss-unsubscribe@arin.net.

ARIN Mailing Lists
arin-discuss@arin.net
Open to ARIN members, employees of ARIN member organizations, ARIN Board of Trustees, and ARIN Advisory Council members. RIR Staff members may observe, but not participate, in discussions.
Provides a forum for the member community to discuss ARIN-specific issues such as fee structures and internal policies.

Read-only list open to the general public. Used by ARIN staff to provide timely information on important issues affecting ARIN members and the Internet community. The issues include ARIN elections, meetings, policy updates, training opportunities, and other ARIN events. We encourage anyone with an interest in Internet operations in the ARIN region to subscribe.

Open to the general public. Provides a forum to raise and discuss policy-related ideas and issues surrounding existing and proposed ARIN policies. The PPML list is an intrinsic part of ARIN's Internet Resource Policy Evaluation Process, which details how proposed policies are handled.

Open to the general public. Used in conjunction with the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process (ACSP) to gather comments, this list is only open when there is a call for comments. For those who would like to submit suggestions to ARIN, please review the ACSP and submit questions using the ACSP Suggestion Form.
arin-issued@arin.net
Read-only list open to the general public. Used by ARIN staff to provide a daily report of addresses returned and addresses issued directly by ARIN or address blocks returned to ARIN's free pool as requested in ACSP Suggestion 2008.2. This service will run for three months on a trial basis, and will be available through March 2009.
Global Mailing Lists
The Number Resource Organization maintains two mailing lists of its own and posts information for global mailing lists hosted by RIRs. See http://www.nro.net/interact/index.html for more information and subscription information.
